The HockeyAllsvenskan is the second-highest ice hockey league in Sweden, after the Swedish Hockey League. The league was founded in 1922 and has been contested by 14 teams since the 2015-16 season. The regular season runs from September to March, with the top six teams qualifying for the playoffs. The winner of the playoffs is promoted to the Swedish Hockey League, while the bottom two teams are relegated to HockeyEttan, the third-highest ice hockey league in Sweden.

2021-22 HockeyAllsvenskan Season

The 2021-22 HockeyAllsvenskan season was the 17th season that the league was contested by 14 teams. The regular season began on September 24, 2021, and ended on March 13, 2022. The top six teams in the regular season standings qualified for the playoffs, which began on March 16, 2022. The BIK Karlskoga won the playoffs and was promoted to the Swedish Hockey League. The Västerviks IK and Kristianstads IK were relegated to HockeyEttan.

2022-23 HockeyAllsvenskan Season

The 2022-23 HockeyAllsvenskan season began on September 23, 2022. The regular season will end on March 12, 2023, and the playoffs will begin on March 14, 2023. The top six teams in the regular season standings will qualify for the playoffs. The winner of the playoffs will be promoted to the Swedish Hockey League, while the bottom two teams will be relegated to HockeyEttan.
